Barb’s Precious Rescue and Adoption Center is a safe and humane haven for cats and kittens that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. We opened our doors in 2014.
We are a volunteer, 501(C)(3) NFP organization with all funds directly assisting our animals, and we are a no-kill facility.
The best way to meet a cat or kitten is to visit our facility, Barb's Precious Rescue and Adoption Center, located at 313 N Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067 during our public visiting hours:
Sundays
10:30am - 12:30pm
Wednesdays
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Our staff would be happy to introduce you to cats and kittens available for adoption.
Each cat available for adoption that is indicated as "special needs" will have details on the pet's medical or behavioral information.
BPRAC staff will address these details with interested adopters.
Cats/kittens 8 years and younger: $200
Adult cats 9 years and older: $150
Fees for additional cats/kittens adopted at the same time are reduced by $50/each.
BPR volunteers and people who have previously adopted from Barb's Precious Rescue are eligible for a $50 discount.
Fees includes neutering/spaying and initial immunizations.
Please note: only one discount per adoption will be honored. Discounts cannot be combined.
Donations are always needed and appreciated. There are two ways you can help.
